What is the role of Land Book?

The first registration of a real estate in the land cadastre and land book relies on receiving the cadastral documentation and the opening of the land book according to the cadastre and real estate advertising law no. 7/1996.

• Registration in the land book has enforceability on third parties starting with the date of applications entry.
• By the entry in the land book, the rights owners are protected against the interests of any third parties that could claim these rights.
• Only after the netry in the land book one can make the documents (alienation, mortgage) available on these.
